2018...hell, it's been awhile.

2018 eh?
Where to start?
Hmm, I started drinking coffee.
I still live in the same house.
I probably weigh the same as I did the last time but have been 30 lbs lighter in between.
I'm wiser.
I'm still figuring it all out.
My husband opened a Jiu Jitsu school.
I have 2 dogs.
I'm still telling it like it is.
My thoughts are totally random.
I have high anxiety.
I don't take meds.
I miss my mom and sister all the time.
One day everyone will know who I am.

Babies

If I won the lottery and could afford it......I'd be a baby hoarder.
I love them...want to squish them.

Remember these are my thoughts and the reason my family thinks I'm crazy.

The 80's

So D texted me this morning.  Our texts are always random and can say anything and have lead us in many directions.  Rarely do we have a normal conversation but I guess that's just how it is after 20 + years of friendship.

So to put it in simple terms, we were on the topic of shaving the V. (Vagina or Ba'gina as it is sometimes referred to in my house.)
There was a point when I was dead set against shaving any part other than the bikini line area.  But...I gave in to the peer pressure.   Sometimes I wish I had never started.  I mean, once you do start...you really should keep doing it.  The grow out isn't worth it.  If you've done it you know what I'm talking about.  What an annoying experience.
Shaving the area itself is dangerous.  Lot's of tender places.  It can become a very high maintenance area quickly depending on your ambitiousness.

Waxing is an option but really why go through the pain or the mess.  Do you do it yourself?  Or have someone else do it?  Can you imagine that job?    It grows back...right? Do you do it again?  Is the pain something you just get used to?  I mean, I've been waxing the brows and lip for years and it's not just something you get used to.

So my random thought is this....Do we take as much pride in our sculpted, well manicured V as a man would his mustache?  Why do we bother?  Who sees it other than you and your other?  They love you the way you are and not by what your V looks like right? Was your V the first thing they ever saw when you all met?  Doubt it, usually it's the last.  I know women have shaved throughout time.  It became more popular in the late 80's and I'm sure most of us have at some point.
But my question is...What would happen if we brought it back?  You know, the 80's. Stop shaving, waxing and manicuring....be liberated.

Hope I have given you something to think about this morning.  Remember these are my thoughts and the reason my family thinks I'm crazy.

Me

Hi
Just testing out the feel for my new blog.
I'm not sure where to start so.....  I do hope my life is in some way humorous, I'm kinda counting on it.
I am here to free the clutter of my brain, as it is constantly haunting me.
I almost feel as though I have multiple aspects of me.  They all co-exist with one basic goal.  To make it to the end of this life being the best and learning as much as I can as I go on.
If I help people on the way, even better.  If you have a question, ask.  If I can answer, I will.
Just be warned...you might not like the answer.

P.S.
This is only my thoughts and opinions...and no way meant to be used as advise.  It may cause more harm than good.  ;)  you've been warned.
